Brisbane’s prestigious Wool Stores apartment project in the riverside suburb of Teneriffe has chosen ECP ’s Airwell as the exclusive supplier of split system air conditioners for the development.
The final two stages of the project, named Ansonia and Saratoga after famous New York apartments, were recently completed transforming abandonded wool stores. Because they were incorporated into heritage listed buildings, extra care was needed in design and construction of the apartments by developers Meridien.
“The Meriden project team worked tirelessly to provide the perfect combination of good design, soundproofing, liveability, durability and style while maintaining the character of the old wool stores,” says Russell McCart, Meridien managing director. “Our focus on style and functionality extends to apartment fittings such as the air conditioners and for Ansonia and Saratoga we’ve opted for Airwell reverse cycle air conditioning systems. We felt they were well specified for the application, had the features we required and complemented the interior aesthetics of the development.”
The Airwell XLM Hi-Wall split systems installed feature triple filter technology, providing three levels of filtration. A pre-filter removes large airborne particles, the active electrostatic filter then eliminates fine contaminants like dust, pollen and the smallest particles, while finally the activated carbon filter neutralises odours.
