Organised by Intergrain Timber Finishes , the Intergrain Timber Vision Awards aim to celebrate the inspirational and innovative skills of architects, landscape architects and interior designers from across the nation.
Now in its third year, the Intergrain Timber Vision Awards categories include Exterior Residential, Interior Residential, Exterior Commercial and Interior Commercial in addition to a new category for 2012, Landscape.
Entry to the 2012 Intergrain Timber Vision Awards will soon close with participants having until 23 June to make their submissions through the Intergrain website.
The Awards are designed to celebrate the innovative ways timber can be used in residential and commercial projects. Intergrain Brand Manager, Krystal Brabham explains that the Intergrain Timber Vision Awards aim to continually celebrate industry professionals who inspire with creative and innovative timber design.
The previous edition of the Awards program attracted entries of high calibre with the organisers expecting an even higher number of entries this year from like-minded professionals who share their passion for timber.
The entries will be evaluated by a prestigious judging panel consisting of John Wardle, Principal at John Wardle Architects and 2011 Intergrain Timber Vision Award Winner, Rowena Marsh, co-founder of MCK and Director of Interiors, Cameron Bruhn, Editorial Director at Architecture Media and Sarah Nadenbousch of DuluxGroup.
In addition to industry exposure, winners will also receive a $2,000 cash prize plus Intergrain products to the value of $5,000. The winners will be announced in August.
Past winners have included John Wardle, Design Studio, Circa Architecture, Wolveridge Architects, Elenberg Fraser, Facet Studio, Grove Architects, Riddel Architecture, and Weian Lim of Matt Gibson Architecture + Design.
