Induction cooking technology has come a long way since its discovery in the 1930’s and ILVE Appliances’ recent addition to their extensive cooktop range is an ideal electric cooktop.
Induction cooking has taken off in the last 10 years with the European manufacturers having an advance in design in 2000, enabling the induction systems to be constructed much cheaper with a more compact and efficient design.
The 60cm and 90cm induction cooktops, available from ILVE Appliances, are suitable for people who have been thinking about upgrading their cooktop at home but are not able go gas.
Unlike normal electric cooktops, induction technology produces heat by creating a magnetic field, which generates heat directly to the cooking vessel.
This means that the heat is instantaneous, temperature control is immediate and the heat is evenly spread over the bottom of the pan, meaning no more annoying hot or cold spots.
Both of ILVE Appliances’ 60cm and 90cm induction cooktops are designed for simple operation and include touch control operation, nine cooking temperature variations and a simmer mode.
Even with inductions near instantaneous heat-up systems, the ILVE induction elements also include booster zones to minimise heat up times even further.
Child safety locks and residual heat indicators have also been incorporated into the design to ensure your families safety.
Like all of ILVE Appliances’ products, the 60cm and 90cm induction models are manufactured by hand in Italy to ensure that each piece is at its optimum level and fine tuned before they are delivered to the consumer.
