As the hotel close to Universal Studios Japan, Hotel Kintetsu Universal City in Osaka was designed to indulge guests with a memorable Hollywood experience filled with an eclectic mix of live entertainment, exotic dining restaurants and exciting specialty shops.
Hotel Kintetsu is one among the three premiere Osaka area hotels, making it the gateway to University City Osaka and the shrine of coolness. This cool factor is extended to everything that the hotel undertakes.
In line with the design theme of "Reverberation and Promise", the interior of the hotel was segmented into different areas, each projecting a scene that allows the guest to relive an exciting theme park experience and create new ones all at the same time.
For instance, the lobby has a three-storey atrium and was designed to create an ideal ambience for guests the moment they walk into the hotel.
And the guestrooms feature a bold colour scheme of blue, green, yellow and red, representing endless space, sprays of cool water, warm sunlight and passionate flames.
Antron nylon, available from Invista , uses the four hole hollow filament shape, which minimises the soil trapping area of the fibre and enhances soil resistance.
The four holes refract and diffuse light to hide the effects of soil, while the smooth outer surface makes it easier for soil to be released during cleaning.
The alignment of the molecular chains in Antron nylon creates a tighter molecular structure, making it tougher for stains to penetrate and increasing resistance to crushing and matting.
Hotel Kintetsu Universal City in Japan received top honours in a competitive field in the 2001 Asia Antron Design Award and garnered the winning award in the Hospitality Category as well as the Grand Prize for the most innovative and effective installation of carpet.
