The 6th Bi-Annual construction exhibition ’ACE’ (Australian Construction Exhibition) was recently hosted at Sandown Racecourse for three days. About 6000 guests came to see the latest innovations and specials offered by suppliers to the construction industry. Over 160 exhibitors showcased a myriad of construction product and service.
Innovative product solutions were the feature of ACE 09, with many exhibitors displaying new models and lines of equipment. Stand of the show winner, Hyundai Construction Equipment Australia , used ACE 09 as a launching platform for their Dash 9 range of construction equipment and 21t and 29t crawler excavators.
Hyundai Construction Equipment Australia, in addition to launching the Dash 9, sold several machines directly off the stand.
Show supporter, CMEIG (Vic), hosted four daily shows that featured the antics of 50cc mini bike riders. The rider’s talents were put to the test by turning construction equipment into an interactive obstacle course. Similar bikes used by riders were also given away as daily prizes drawn at random from show visitor registrations.
