Traditional craftsman techniques from Hypnotic Furniture
Hypnotic Furniture offer installation and manufacturing of furniture and joinery by using modern technology and skilled workmanship. Hypnotic Furniture has finished many projects like Manga pod, Bedside Table and Kitchen One.
Hypnotic Furniture created Manga Pod for St Margaret’s Design and Architecture Festival held at the Object Gallery in Surry Hills. Sketched by the architect duo Atelier Bow-Wow from Japan, Hypnotic Furniture’s Manga Pod was specifically designed to fit beneath a staircase, in the window of Object Gallery.
Hypnotic Furniture completed and produced the Bedside Table project using traditional craftsmanship. This custom-made bedside table was created using solid Tasmanian Blackwood. Buffed and finished with fine Carnauba Wax features, the Bedside Table has a solid timber top with flawlessly shaped cabriole-style legs. There is a solid timber drawer too.
Hypnotic Furniture created and installed the contemporary Kitchen One in Armidale, New South Wales for a privately-owned residential property.
The components of the kitchen were manufactured, packed and delivered as a 'LamiKit', through Laminex Industries. The fittings and installation of the cupboards for this project were done on-site. Standard white HMR particleboard were used for the internal parts of the kitchen, and 'Seal Stipple' MDF was used for end panels and doors.
