HIA award winners
Queensland’s Glen Fuller Building has taken out both the home of the year award and the custom built home of the year award in the 2002 Housing Industry Association ’s (HIA) Australian housing awards.
Located at Noosa Heads on the Sunshine Coast, the winning house the judges said the home “reflects an exceptional, creative use of land, with the transition between indoors and outdoors seamless. Wherever you look there is something different. The house reflects an excellent use of energy principles that are appropriate for the Queensland climate.”

. Australian bathroom project of the year - BBS Bathrooms T/A Beaumont Bathrooms, SA.
. Australian kitchen designer of the year - Ethel Young of Exclusive Interiors/Exclusive Kitchen Design, WA.
. Australian kitchen project of the year - Brown & Clark Homes & Design Tek Cabinets, QLD.
. Jim Sweeney Australian industry innovation award - Brunsen, Vic.
. Jim Brookes Australian housing export award - The Austral Brick Company, Qld.
