Great home ideas


The 2002 HIA Home Ideas & Lifestyle Show, running from Saturday 30 March – Sunday 7 April, will be the biggest HIA show Melbourne has ever seen, and will deliver a range of new features, from a full-scale two-storey home to a DIY stage, a children’s play area and a section for antique and reproduction furniture.

A wide range of products will be on display, including new home and renovation building products, whitegoods, furniture and furnishings, flooring and carpet, garden and outdoor products, pools and spas, kitchens and bathrooms, heating and cooling, paving, gas and electrical appliances, lighting and garages and sheds. ‘The shed’ will in fact be turned into a work of art, with Victoria University’s Design, Paint & Carpentry departments being given free run to decorate five sheds.
