Hills Industries is an Australian company that provides hoists and clothelines. The products from Hills Industries comply to Australian standards. Hills Industries began its operation in 1946 by Hills and Hing. They launched The Hills Rotary Hoist in 1946, which had a good welcome from the Australians. Hills then bought salvage army truck for its deliveries.
In 1948, Hills launched laundry products to replace hoists. Harold Hing decided to form branches throughout the country apart from getting agencies overseas. Hills Industries shifted to the new premises to Edwardstown from Pengelley's coach builder.
Hills Industries commenced its research and development program in 1955. With experienced expertise and its tube manufacturing knowledge television antennas were being produced. As manufacturing of other consumer products and children's play equipment were also growing along, a wide range of clotheline, ironing board and new more products were introduced.
Hills branded products are Bailey ladder, trestles scaffolding and planks, Keldo wheelbarrows, handtrucks, swings and gyms, screen doors, trampolines, Alquip stairway access and accessories, K, Care shower commodes, Kerry equipments- patient lifter, flexi-carts, team poly tanks, aqua culture tanks, hills solar collectors, stainless steel tanks, solar with electric booster and LPG boosters.
Electronic security products like direct alarm supplies, entertainment products like audio telex is also available. Hills Industries also provide industrial products like roofing, walling, vents, etc.
