Hettich Australia presents the enhanced range of Sensys fast assembly
hinges featuring new functions that address all application purposes.
Combining a front-to-back design with a feel of luxury, the new Sensys
hinges from Hettich feature gentle door closing and wide opening angle, and now
also suit thick doors.
Sensys with integrated Silent
System
The automatic Silent System furniture door closure from the unusually
wide angle of 35 degrees is a major improvement for the Sensys hinge. Furniture
doors reliably close in response to a turn of the hand with an even, gentle
closing action guaranteed in the temperature range from +5°C to +40°C.
Sensys wide angle hinge
The Sensys wide angle hinge gives furniture doors a wide opening angle of
165 degrees and closes them evenly and gently. Zero-protrusion hinges make it
possible to fit internal drawers without spacer profiles, preventing trapped
fingers regardless of the position of the door. The Sensys wide angle hinge has
received the iF Product Design Award 2014 and the Red Dot Design Award 2014.
Sensys thick door hinge
The movement cycles typical of profile doors and doors made of very
thick material can pose a challenge to the conventional hinge. Fitted with the
new Sensys thick door hinges, even thick furniture doors close smoothly, gently
and silently. The Sensys thick door hinge won the iF Product Design Award 2014.
Sensys without Silent System and
self-closing feature
Delivering excellent soft closing performance on large heavy doors as
well as on small doors, the Sensys hinge without Silent System makes a point of
difference in furniture ranges seeking to use hinges of the same look.
The Sensys hinge is also available without the self-closing feature for
the Push to open function on handleless fronts.

Sensys’ elegant design features the hinge and mounting plate integrating
harmoniously while a stylish cover cap conceals the fixing screws on the hinge
