Acoustically transparent projection screens

Herma Technologies has released acoustically transparent projection screens to help designers resolve speaker placement issues in home cinemas.

The fabric of the projection screens, known as Plana AT, is a woven screen fabric with acoustic properties. It provides a high quality visual result whilst minimising any possible distortion in the audio quality.

The acoustically transparent projection screens are currently available in the LP Morgan Galleria frame screen range, both as a flat and a curved screen.

It is anticipated that an LP Morgan Rondo motorised roller screen with acoustically transparent material will be available in early 2010.
