DVD-Audio, Super Audio CDs available from Hempel Sound

Hempel Sound  has recently begun purchasing DVD-Audio and Super Audio CDs for demonstration and sale at its shop.

Vinyl records and analogue tape recordings have not gone out with a fight. In recent years LP records have been making a comeback and for good reason.

While lacking in the dynamic range of a well mastered CD, they exhibit qualities which for the most part digital recordings have missed, this is certainly the case with MP3.

With the introduction of SACD and DVDA a digital resolution capable of representing all of these analogue nuances became abundantly clear.

Also for the first time the ability to portray music in Multi-Channel sound better than Stereo becomes apparent on a lot of re-mastered albums.
