Halifax Vogel Group’s laminates for kitchen surfaces and benchtops

Halifax Vogel Group (HVG) has now introduced a new laminate mix consisting of textures, colours, finishes and edges, creating a vibrant combination of colours and finishes suitable for kitchen benchtops and countertops, and for other surfacing uses in the commercial market.

The total laminate range has over 130 colour choices, including plain colours, classic stone reproductions, abstracts, woodgrains and real metals. Halifax Vogel Group has kept the popular sellers and added new dynamic colours and designs - such as Aranda Grey, Butterum Granite, White Quartz, Macchiato Walnut, Ebony, Basalt Slate, Travertine, Carnaval and Tropical Blue - to have a complete colour range of laminate surfaces.

Halifax Vogel Group has chosen the new laminates to specifically target the needs of a growing building market, in particular for benchtops and countertops in the kitchen industry. David Maltby, Halifax Vogel Group’s Business Manager for Building Products is delighted by the release of this new laminate surfacing collection. David said, “The strong acceptance of our original AR Plus range convinced me to add AR Plus Plain Colours and Woodgrains”. The new colours for the laminate benchtop range have already been widely accepted in domestic and commercial kitchen applications throughout Australia.

The unique AR PLUS technology delivers a harder wearing surface, some two to three times more wear resistance than other gloss laminates traditionally used for kitchen benchtops. There are almost 50 colours including 10 plain colours and 5 woodgrains, all proving very popular.

The Creastyle laminate finishes consist of crystal, etching, honed, naturalle and SD (a satin like finish), with a new Creastyle surface finish to be released in early 2007.

With more than 40 of these gloss laminates able to be postformed to a square benchtop profile, Halifax Vogel Group are able to respond quickly to the growing demand for the tighter radius edge on kitchen benchtops and countertops.
