This is another Eclipse Opening Roof installation by
HV Aluminium . The two storey dwelling in the Hunter Area has a U shaped alcove with all rooms leading out to the pool area.
The owner was looking to keep the rain out yet keep control of the sun, light and warmth into the adjacent rooms, as well as the pool area. Added to these points, the owner still wanted to see the pool from the second storey balconies on either side of the alcove.
The Eclipse Opening Roof was chosen for the project as it comfortably met all of the owners requirements – control, rain protection and for free sight through the roof. The aluminium and stainless steel components were also an important factor, for long lasting operation.
The Eclipse Opening Roof has been powder coated to the owner’s choice of colour, with a large selection available from Dulux & Interpon colour charts. Anodising finishes are also available and have a good array of colour options.
The project is fitted with a rain sensor touchpad control system to operate the roof. The switch system will close automatically in the rain and has programmable preferred positions to capture the sun, shade or light to suit the area.
