Smart Wiring has been developed by the Copper Development Centre to give consumers a reliable and cost-effective platform to run their phone, internet, fax, television and security services.
A joint initiative between the CDC and industry leaders such as BHP Billiton, , HPM , Krone, Hills, LG, Pirelli, Belden and Universal Network Technology, with Smart Wiring television, internet, telephone, lighting, audio, security and garden irrigation can all be controlled from one master unit or by remote control over the phone.
Homes can be equipped with services from the four Smart Wired packages which include combined phone and fax lines, pay TV cabling, sound systems, computer connections, internet capability, automated lighting and security wiring in a single, efficient, unified system.
