With the support of Expo Tasmania, GreenPainters were able to bring the GreenPainters Sustainable Painting Programme to Tasmania, running workshops and seminars in Hobart and Launceston.
Painting contractors travelled for up to four hours to attend the programme. The Sustainable Painting Programme helped them to update their knowledge on sustainable products and trade practices.
There was massive interest in the GreenPainters programme from the general public, with over 8000 people attending the exhibitions, held at the Derwent Entertainment Center and the Launceston Silverdome. All architects and building designers who attended the seminar series went into the draw to win an Ecospecifier subscription. Gary Austin from Concept Design and Drafting was the winner.
