Removable Floor Doors from Gorter Hatches

Gorter Hatches floor doors can be supplied with a detachable floor door cover which is available in aluminium, steel or stainless steel.

These flush covers for these floor access panels are available in anti-skid checker plate finish, or with a recess for inlay with concrete, tiles, carpet, wood or any other flooring material to match the floor surface.

Combine with ladders and stairs for easy access
In situations where the door is not opened frequently and the specified sizes are minor, Gorter removable floor access panels provide an economically convenient solution. This can be because health and safety regulations may specify that in normal circumstances, one person may only lift a maximum of 24 kgs.

• Flush covers are made from checker plate.
• Recessed covers for tiles will be supplied with a 27mm, 50mm or 65mm deep pan provided with reinforcing.
• Retractable floor doors with detachable access covers can be manufactured from galvanized steel, stainless steel or aluminium.

Extra Light Composite Access Systems
A new composite model of Removable Floor Doors is also available, this is filled with high strength honeycomb aluminium and several different layers of light weight strengthening. This allows large floor hatches to be lifted by a single person, saving up to 70% of the weight of a conventional concrete filled floor door.
