Hinged Floor Doors for Indoor and Outdoor Applications from Gorter Hatches

Gorter Hatches floor doors or access hatches can be supplied with a hinged or detachable floor door cover. The floor door cover is usually finished flush with the surface of the floor.

Made from aluminium generally, floor access doors are also supplied in steel or stainless steel.

Easy to use with flush floor door cover

• Hinged floor doors have a smooth and comfortable one hand operation, regardless of the size and weight of the floor door cover
• The counter balance system of these hinged floor doors provide assisted opening and controlled closing with one hand
• The hinged floor hatches automatically engage in an open position and releases with one hand
• A FixGrip safety handle will be supplied for models 1000 mm plus
• The load of hinged flush floor doors is calculated in accordance with the most severe conditions of EN 1991-1

Gorter fire rated access panels come with an integral anchor flange or welded adjustable anchors depending on size.

The floor doors drainage frame can be supplied with a 40 mm drain for connection to stormwater flow.

Hinged flush floor doors can be combined with a fixed vertical ladder, ladders or fixed stairs, depending on the application and size. Retractable stairs can be installed in some cases also.
