Commercial and residential buildings will often have areas, such as roofs and ceilings, that need to be accessed. Tenants may be unaware of these areas, but building officers and property owners inevitably need to access for safety and maintenance requirements.
The new Perth Arena in WA will be the new home to major international music acts and concerts and it is crucial that the sound quality in the arena was crystal clear.
For these reasons, Gorter Hatches was chosen to supply five custom made roof access hatches that have an acoustic damping Rw55. The acoustic roof hatches passed all the relevant testing and are now installed on the roof of the Perth Arena.
The roof hatches provide an access point for the roof as a safety precaution and also for its damping capabilities.Gorter Hatches also provided a large water tight floor door and a fire rated floor door for this project.
