Gorter Hatches has recently supplied three enormous custom made electrical operated fire escape floor doors to St Hilliers Contracting in The Rock, NSW.
The customised fire escape floor doors was a special job for Gorter, that demonstrates its capabilities to tailor make access hatches to fulfil any specifications.
These three custom built fire escape floor doors range in size between 3550 x 1500 and 4200 x 1500, and are necessary for access to and from underground car parking.
These customised floor doors are electrically operated and were installed with a smoke vent control and remote control operation.
In the event of a fire in the car park the three floor doors will automatically open providing a quick and safe means of escape.
As in this example Gorter is able to manufacture floor doors and other access hatches to unique and intricate architect specifications.
