GEO Flooring Solutions
Geo Flooring is the result of over 25 years of hard work and professionalism within the flooring industry. We have a simple philosophy - durability and sustainability.

We believe flooring products should be fit for purpose, durable and sustainable, and we are passionately focused on the preservation of the Earth for future generations.

With worldwide concerns over global warming and pollution, we find more and more frequently people are seeking options that favor environmental sustainability as well as comfort and design.

Environmentally Friendly Products
GEO flooring is part of the evolution in sustainability and performance. Our emphasis is on sustainable, eco friendly options in commercial flooring; because flooring should never be at the expense of the Earth.

In fact our business partners Tandus and Lonseal are both at the forefront of this push to produce environmentally friendly products.

About Tandus Carpet Company

Tandus was the first carpet company to develop the esteemed ‘closed loop recycling’ in 1994, known as ‘The Infinity Initiative’. This revolutionized the carpet industry in more ways than one.

It forced the carpet industry to sit up and take notice as Tandus began to take responsibility for the complete lifecycle of their carpet products. The Tandus long term goal is to LEAVE NO TRACE™ and become givers to, rather than takers from, the Earth.

Eco Friendly Achievements
In terms of their 40 years of innovation and environmental stewardship and sustainability Tandus has achieved the following accomplishments:

  • In excess of 130,000 pounds of carpet has NOT gone into landfill!
  • This in turn means that LESS virgin materials are sourced from the earth.
  • Reclaimed carpet is made into 100% recycled ER3 carpet backing, which is then 100% recyclable over and over again.
  • 17 times lower VOC emissions than allowed industry standards, by using RS pre-applied adhesive.
  • Over 8,800,000 gallons of adhesive avoided over the last 16 years and 2,000,000 adhesive drums saved from going into landfill, by using pre-applied adhesive.
  • 8 million pounds of CO2 NOT put into the atmosphere because Tandus use renewable energy.
  • 11 tons of pesticides kept out of schools, hospitals, office buildings and the environment by NOT adding antimicrobial treatments to carpets.
  • 25 % LESS yarn used in the manufacture of their carpet products.

About Lonseal Vinyl

Lonseal likes to be known as ‘vinyl with virtue’ and their commitment to sustainability and durability certainly focuses upon these two key facets, with products containing up to 50% recycled content.

Lonseal is
a manufacturer with integrity and proven success for over 35 years.

About GEO Flooring

We respect our planet, and it is important to us that we are making a positive impact to the earth, by not contributing to landfill and global warming. Providing environmentally friendly products which focus on sustainability and durability is our top priority.

  • Our products are free from pesticides/toxic antimicrobials
  • This limits the impact of unnecessary toxic antimicrobials on your health
  • This in turn ensures a durable product, without negative health effects associated with the use of pesticides.

GEO is proudly the exclusive Australian supplier of Tandus and Lonseal flooring products because they embrace the principles that we believe in. We are committed to supplying a quality product with a respect for the earth.
