Homeowners should carefully assess their requirements before buying an air conditioner this summer. Fujitsu General believes that to make the right choice, consumers need to research a number of criteria to accurately decide on the features they will need from their air conditioner.
“By asking themselves a series of questions, consumers will be able to make a more informed choice, ensuring a sound investment in the most effective air conditioner for their needs,” comments Philip Perham, Fujitsu General Manager – Marketing/Sales.
Fujitsu recommends that anyone in the market for an air conditioner should ask themselves the following questions before purchasing:
· What room is it to go into?
· What size and shape is the room that you want to cool?
· How many people will use the room?
· How high is the ceiling and roof area and is it insulated?
· How many windows does the room have and what size are they?
· Which way does the room face – e.g. east/west?
· How is the room constructed – number of walls, floor coverings, etc?
· What type of surface will it be attached to?
· Will it be fitted to the wall or the ceiling?
Fujitsu offers a wide range of air conditioners for all cooling requirements as well as a wide variety of room sizes.
The most recent additions to the portfolio are three new cool-only models launched for this summer. These are Fujitsu’s first cool-only models to feature inverter technology. This sophisticated technology enables the air conditioner to reach the desired room temperature faster, making them more energy efficient and therefore cheaper to run than standard air conditioners. Ideal for medium-sized bedrooms and living spaces, the models range from 2.1kW to 3.5 kW capacities.
