FrameCAD to Run Steel Frame Building Expo in Melbourne

An international market leader in turnkey steel frame manufacturing solutions, FrameCAD Solutions will co-host the expo with building industry leaders TRUECORE steel and the National Association of Steel Framed Housing (NASH).

The Steel Frame Building Expo will consist of a series of workshops and presentations, each tailored for specific audiences, including architects, engineers, builders, frame manufacturers, building sector educators, as well as state and national government representatives.

FrameCAD CEO Mark Taylor, NASH CEO Ken Watson, and Emeritus Professor Gregory Hancock have confirmed they will be taking part in the workshops, which will be held twice a day from Monday October 19 until Friday October 23.

FrameCAD will be unveiling their F300i steel frame fabrication at the expo, and be conducting live demonstrations at each of the workshops.

Capable of manufacturing framing for steel frame buildings at speeds up to 700 metres per hour, the new FrameCAD F300i can achieve capital payback in as little as three months, based on producing framing for one average house per day.

The number of steel frame buildings has demonstrated strong growth in Australia increasing by 1% point every year over the last five years with current market share of approximately 14%.

The FrameCAD F300i is also at the centre of a fully self-contained Mobile Factory Solution, enabling quick start on site production of steel framing at remote locations, even in areas with little or no infrastructure. This system is ideal for remote location work, disaster relief and large on-site project work.

The Steel Frame Building Expo is open to anyone associated with the building industry.
