Building process carried out by Formcraft
Formcraft specialises in constructing buildings in the traditional way and has carried out several projects for commercial and residential sectors. The building process from Formcraft includes stacking, bracing, pouring, finishing systems and other accessories.
In stacking, the modules are assembled using Formcraft connection system. The blocks are stacked on to a pre poured footing to form a wall. Corner blocks are convenient and these add strength to the building. In Formcraft building system, the height of panels coincides with the height of standard door, window and roof panels.
In the bracing process, a light weight scaffold and bracing system is used for providing a platform for pouring the concrete and to prop the walls. The reinforcement bars can be snapped easily into different places for increasing the strength of the walls constructed. The concrete is then poured on to the cavities between the formwork panels having concrete pumps. These panels get attached and they act as an insulating material of the walls.
Accessories are also provided under the building process, which include scaffolding and two in one bracing systems, door framing systems and windows for exterior surface of the walls. The finishing systems from Formcraft include Formcraft Dura-tex, which is available in different colours and textures. Architectural mouldings and insul-clad systems are also offered by Formcraft.
