Flowcrete to showcase anti-microbial Flowfresh flooring at FoodPro 2008
Flowcrete Australia will use its presence at the FoodPro 2008 to demonstrate how its seamless Flowfresh polyurethane resin flooring range is helping food processors and manufacturers to eliminate bacteria in a wide range of environments.
The FoodPro 2008 takes place from 21-24 July at the Sydney Exhibition Centre and Flowcrete Australia’s stand number 5128, located in Hall 5, will feature the Flowfresh system in-situ.
The Flowfresh range is specifically designed for applications in food and drinks processing, dairies, pharmaceutical and healthcare facilities and anywhere where hygiene is a priority. The system works by harnessing the natural power of silver.
A compound known as Polygiene is locked into the resin matrix of Flowfresh floors, providing round the clock protection against a range of bacteria including E.Coli, Listeria, Staphylococcus Aureus, Salmonella Typhi and Streptococcus Pyogenes.
A special additive in Polygiene emits ions of silver that continuously migrate to the surface where they suppress microbial growth, remaining active throughout the lifetime of the flooring system. Polygiene also inhibits the growth of mould, fungi and mildew and protects against the propagation of bacteria, superbugs, MRSA and SARS.
The Flowfresh range is AQIS approved.
Hard-wearing, slip-resistant, fast curing and complying by the AS/NZS standards, the Flowfresh range helps companies achieve regulatory compliance while providing a safe working environment.
Quality thermal shock distortion properties make the Flowfresh range suitable for use in extreme temperatures (-40°C to +120°C), from chillers and freezer rooms to hot, wet processing areas where live steam cleaning is carried out.
Australian firms using the system include AP Foods, Nestle, Big Sister and Baxter Healthcare, Fonterra and Westland Milk of New Zealand.
