Fisher & Paykel Appliances have announced that they have won GfK Number One Awards 2008 in both the dishwasher and washing machine categories for the second year in a row.
The awards are based on unit sales for the period from January to December 2008. This is the third year Fisher & Paykel have been the top dishwashing brand.
The Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer has been one of the most innovative products in kitchen appliances in the past decade.
The single and double DishDrawer models are quieter and also feature improved wash performance and nine wash programmes that include eco options.
Peter Russell, National Marketing Manager, Fisher & Paykel, said that the key washing machine category win is a glowing testimony to their laundry team, AquaSmart and hard work at retail level. AquaSmart is the top loading washer with a unique wash action that delivers good water savings and will wash an average size load in less than an hour.
