A Fisher & Paykel Appliances showroom is to be opened by Fisher & Paykel Appliances Ltd and Hong Kong distributor Kelvin Electric Trading Co, in the shopping precinct of Causeway Bay in downtown Hong Kong.
The opening is scheduled for 10 June and coincides with the Fisher & Paykel Appliances’ celebration of 75 years in business. The new store will showcase many of the brand’s innovative products and premium ranges, including the intuitive and futuristic IZONA collection.
The opening of the new Fisher & Paykel Appliances store will also emphasise Kelvin Electric Trading Co’s commitment to the brand. Established more than 20 years ago, the renowned home appliance distributor has an extensive network throughout Hong Kong and Macau. With the opening of the showroom, Kelvin Electric Trading Co will increase its support and further strengthen the Fisher & Paykel Appliances brand in the market.
General Manager – Sales & Marketing Asia, Fisher & Paykel Appliances Ltd, Richard St John, said the launch of the new store with a 125 square metre display area will be a significant move for the brand. It will provide an opportunity for interior designers, developers and architects to view the range of Fisher & Paykel Appliances.
Mr St John added that the initiative reflects the emergence of Fisher & Paykel Appliances in the Asia region, signifying a format for the future in the Asian and Middle Eastern markets, and representing a premium market position, particularly with the IZONA range.
The IZONA product range has been designed to meet the increasing openness of the kitchen and home. Central to this are modular design freedom and an ergonomic focus.
The IZONA range includes CookSurface, VentSurface and the CoolDrawer, a multi-temperature fridge drawer that can be set to freezer, chill, fridge, pantry or wine cooler mode. As adaptive chilled environments, CoolDrawers can be placed in different places around the home at a temperature suitable to the location, enabling it to work with or in place of existing refrigeration to optimise kitchen and entertainment spaces.
