Fantech wins at ARBS 2012 for its impulse ventilation systems
Fantech won the coveted Product Excellence award category and its designer, Fantech Market Development Engineer, Daniel Tan, won the Young Achiever for 2012.
Daniel was largely responsible for the introduction and development of the JetVent impulse ventilation system for car parks to Australia as a cost effective alternative to traditional ducted systems.
He also designed the JetVent EC Series fans with features including:
- efficient EC motor technology with integrated speed control
- ComLink digital communication
- reduced noise levels and wiring complexity
- dramatically improving the system's energy efficiency
"We knew JetVent EC was special when we completed its performance testing, and to have that validated by the industry is a great feeling and a huge confirmation of Fantech’s commitment to innovation, product development and continuous improvement," Daniel said.
"We were up against some very good products, and to win the award was very special and recognition of a lot of hard work."
Furthermore, Daniel strives to improve and educate the industry through the Fantech Engineers Training Program which he helped create and continues to play a vital role in by delivering its valuable contents to its attendees all over Australia and New Zealand.
He has also played an important part in the development and testing of the Fantech Product Selection Program.
"The selection program has been a very rewarding project as feedback so far from clients and staff has been very positive," said Daniel.
