After the bush fires caused so much destruction on 7th February 2009, Jay Turner, Alister Skedd and Michael Tymms from Acacia Pest Control went to their boss Cameron Skedd with an idea to raise money for the Victorian Bush Fire Appeal.
They proposed to donate their time if the business donated payments from all jobs done for a day. Keenly supporting the proposal Cameron quickly got to work promoting through local radio and newspapers and securing donations of Biflex Ultra and Dragnet Dust from FMC Australasia .
The team at Acacia Pest Control raised over $3000 on Saturday 21st February for the Red Cross Bush Fire Appeal.
