Lingerie manufacturer Bendon converted a warehouse into offices for its new Australia headquarters this year and despite it being an open-plan office space, there were no signs of messy power cords trailing across the room.
The offices were well-planned with custom-built workstations dominating the space and instead of using conventional power points that would have greatly limited design potential, Bendon installed Eubiq power tracks to provide flexible staff work areas.
Bendon selected power and data tracks to be run across privacy panels which separate staff sitting across one another at the benches.
In each panel, electrical cables are hard-wired into the end terminal of one track and subsequent tracks receive power through looping with the previous track.
CAT6 data cables are housed in the panels which terminate into data sockets installed on the power tracks. To power up their electronics and electrical equipment, staff at Bendon used Eubiq adaptors and pre-wired cordsets.
To create a modern office environment that is aesthetically appropriate for the brand, the streamlined power tracks are recessed into the privacy panels for a flushed, clean effect.
The tracks are also laminated in DI-NOC film to the colour of the workstations, so the outcome is stylish and unobtrusive ubiquitous power in the corporate space.
The Eubiq power tracks are available from Eubiq.
