Erosion Protection Systems , involved in erosion control, recently protected the abutments of a bridge in a remote location, west of Bourke, in NSW.
The concrete filled mattress system was used to protect both abutments, with the edges of the mattress keyed into anchor trenches to ensure there is no scouring from under the matt.
