This revetment system can be installed under water with the help of divers, and the speed and ease of installation provides significant savings over traditional methods of erosion control, including rock mattresses and reinforced concrete.
The revetment mattress is currently being used by a number of local councils to provide protection to drainage structures, culverts and bridge abutments.
