Filter Mattresses
- Relieves hydrostatic pressures from building up
- Provides a mannings coefficient of 0.025-0.03
- Can be made to any thickness up to 300 mm
- Withstands velocities up to 7 m/second
- Used to protect bridge abutments, culverts, canals, rivers and lakes
Uniform Mattresses
- Provides a more uniform appearance
- Internal restraining ties act to reinforce the grout pumped within the mattress
- Provides a mannings coefficient of 0.016
- Resists velocities up to 10 m/second
- Ideal for use on spillways, boat ramps, ponds and other structures requiring impermeability
Flexible Block Mattresses
- Articulates and flexes with any anticipated ground settlement
- Can be internally reinforced with rope
- The hinges surrounding each block act to relieve hydrostatic pressures under the matt.
- Can be coloured to blend in with the environment
- Used for protecting the toe of sea walls and other marine structures
