Enware Australia ’s portable Enpac SpillPal spill containment units, provided by Blackwoods ACT, are being used to ensure good environmental management and worker safety on a dam development project being delivered for ACTEW Corporation by the Bulk Water Alliance.
The SpillPal flexible bunding units are easy to set up and provide the ideal solution for portable pumping and the casual re-fuelling of trucks and tankers in a range of applications such as building, civil engineering, construction, heavy transport, resources, mining and quarrying, water and waste water .
Enware Safe-Equip’s Enpac SpillPal containment units are available in a variety of models that can store a single drum (610 mm x 610 mm x 100 mm) to eight drums or two IBCs (1220 mm x 2400 mm x 100 mm). Sump capacities of the spill containment units range from 37.9 litres to 302.8 litres.
SpillPal spill containment units require no ramps as the containment device has flexible sidewalls that spring back to form, enabling easy drive-in and drive-out access with a hand truck or forklift.
Mr Paul Degnan, Enware Australia’s Managing Director said “Our product solutions such as SpillPal can secure your profits and ensure you protect both the environment and your workers.”
These solutions:
- Limit worker exposure to accidents and to hazardous materials
- Reduce material costs by reclaiming spills and maximising material utilisation
- Increase productivity, as lightweight handling and storage products let workers move more products quickly and safely
- Reduce disposal costs by reclaiming spilled material
- Lower insurance costs, as the right handling products may reduce workers compensation premiums
SpillPal spill containment units are part of the extensive Enpac Spill Prevention and Containment range distributed by Enware Safe-Equip to minimise losses of industrial fluids and protect workers against accidents.
