Elton Group has recently launched 6 new FSC certified veneers, as part of its Eveneer reconstructed timber veneer range.
The new veneers are called eco argento, eco macassar, eco naturale, eco raven, eco silkwood and eco velvet.
Advantages of Eveneer include; standard sheet sizes for better yield, more suited to modern furniture manufacturing processes.
Eveneer timber veneers requires less work handling, jointing and laying than conventional veneers, leading to considerable saving of time, materials and labour.
No need for progressive numbering to sequence match panels as each panel is the same, allowing future additions to be more easily matched, damaged panels more easily replaced.
Now, with FSC certification, Eveneer continues its promotion of the responsible use of timber and provides the opportunity to achieve Greenstar points.
The FSC certified veneers are sold with the prefix ‘eco’ and have been certified by FSC Forest Stewardship Council – the mark of responsible forestry.
