Edway Group offers training courses and certifications for apprentices and labourers in the construction industry. Confined Space Training enables participants to complete risk assessments, hazard identifications and the participants also learn to handle confined space equipment. The course content of Confined Space Training includes hazard identification, Australian Standards, explanation of legislation, identifying confined space, worksite procedures and policies, lockout and tag out methods of isolation and so on.
This course offered by Edway Group also covers practical entry into a confined space, safety procedures which have to be followed, atmospheric monitoring, gas detection, confined space work permits, hierarchy of hazard controls and emergency procedures.
Some of the optional content of the Confined Space Training include fire fighting procedures, handling breathing apparatus, CPR refresher and confined space rescue.
