With tough water restrictions around most of the country and gardens that are already looking parched as summer approaches, homeowners are wishing they could have their own personal water supply.
Now, homeowners can have their own hidden rainwater storage and minimise the impact of the new restrictions by installing the latest generation of bladder system called eco sac.
eco sac sits discretely under decks and under floors, so does not become an eye sore in gardens.
54 different size of eco sac are available, which will meet space and water storage requirements and fit between piers as long as there is a height clearance of at least 700mm.
The biggest individual eco sac has a capacity of 8600 litres but multiple bladders can be connected together easily to get greater storage capacity.
The eco sac is made from PVC tested to the Australian Potable water standard (AS4020) which makes it safe for topping up swimming pools and fish ponds.
eco sac has no moving parts and so maintenance is minimal.
Rainwater bladders are a good convenient storage solution, not only because they use previously wasted space but they can collect more rainwater per shower of rain than a traditional tank because you can connect the downpipes from both sides of the house.
Eco Sac has now added CAD drawings in 3 aspects for each of its 54 sizes to the website.
