Earthworks Training provides training and assessment courses for trainees in earth moving machines. Earthworks Training strives to deliver qualified workers to the industry. There are certain criteria that are followed for an assessment. By law, the same person should not conduct both training and assessment. Earthworks Training provides a trainer first and when the candidate is ready for assessment, an assessor is provided.
Forty eight hours prior notice from an assessor is required for any assessment. So it is necessary to conduct Earthworks Training at least a week prior to assessment, which allows proper workcover notifications and sufficient study time for the trainee. Trainees should gain 100% points of identification on the day of assessment.
Workcover assessment requirements insists minimum 18 years of age to undertake a workcover assessment. The trainees are advised to study the workcover course material which will be provided during training. It is necessary for an individual to access a machine for performance assessment. All critical and 80% of non critical questions must be answered by a trainee for achieving competency.
