The Trimatrx system, a product and process system developed between Dulux Powder Coatings , Orica Adhesives & Resins and Alpine MDF Industries whereby powder coating can be applied to Medium Density Fibre (MDF) board, is suitable for use in most areas that MDF can be used.
The Trimatrx System is the application of the Dulux Trimatrx Powder Coating onto the Trimatrx MDF Board by a Dulux Applicator for Heat Sensitive Substrates.
Trimatrx Powder Coating provides an excellent finish and has very good resistance to heat, moisture and humidity, as well as, very good surface hardness, flexibility and chemical resistance, normally associated with conventional powder coating. Trimatrx has a low environmental impact as it has low solvents, low VOC’s and low wastage. It is available in 16 stock colours but can also be manufactured in virtually any colour, in either a solid, pearlescent or textured effect in a matt or satin finish.
The Trimatrx MDF Board is a unique high quality MDF board, ideally suited for powder coating, but also suitable for many other applications. Trimatrx MDF Board is manufactured from environmentally managed forests and can be shaped and routed to a high quality finish. Trimatrx MDF Board ensures an excellent result due to its ability to withstand greater temperature, humidity, moisture and chemical variances, the end result being the control of post cure edge cracking, structural deterioration and warping.
