Door furniture retains looks
The need for tough, corrosion resistant window and door hardware has prompted Doric Products Pty Ltd to release a range of fittings in 316 grade stainless steel.
The new fittings include the DS920 Waikato patio door Lock, the DS3000 Twin range of patio door locks and the “Manly” & “Byron” French door lock furniture sets. The locks are accompanied by other door furniture such as hinges, roller carriages and commercial pull handles, also in stainless steel.
Doric general manager Nigel Long says the products are well suited for residential window and door use in corrosive environments such as inner-city dwellings or sea-side apartments and will retain their finish.
He also says the use of stainless steel avoids any performance or aesthetic problems that can occur in products used in those environments with the products backed by Doric’s reputation of specialised design and manufacture of window and door hardware in Australia.
