Designbuild, Australasia’s largest trade only building and design expo, will be staged in Perth for the first time from 12th to 14th October 2007 at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre.
The exhibition will have a major focus on ‘Sustainability’ and ‘Green Building’ and will champion the green building cause in WA by providing knowledge and inspiration at Green Building Seminars in a Green Building Zone, featuring the latest in green building products.
Designbuild Perth will be officially opened by Hon Michelle Roberts MLA, Minister for Employment Protection; Housing and Works; Indigenous Affairs; Heritage; Land Information at 10 am on Friday 12th October.
The increasing momentum behind the green building movement, demand for water saving devices outstripping supply, and a dynamic national debate on climate change, all point to an environmentally aware market searching for eco-friendly solutions.
“There is also little doubt that building industry professionals of all persuasions are all hungry for knowledge on the new products and developments in sustainable building practices to satisfy this demand. Designbuild is one place where many of the latest solutions will be on show and why it is the must attend industry event in WA in 2007,” said Exhibition Director, Bill Hare.
Designbuild will feature more than 120 exhibitors. Major names participating include: ACP Polycrete, Alucobond Architectural, Aneeta Windows, Auspex, Austral Insulation, CR Kennedy Total Survey Solutions, Ecospecifier, Galvin Engineering, Glosswood, Karndean, Master Builders Association, Osborne Ceramic Centre, Rinnai and Zenith Ceilings.
