DigiGlass create a large logo reflecting SXY Apartments name in Richmond

SXY Apartments
Baracon Constructions in association with Interlandi Mantesso Architects located in Richmond have incorporated Digiglass laminated imaging techniques into a new development in South Yarra called the SXY apartments.

White ink was used for the first time in combination with a grey ink to create a large logo reflecting the buildings name in the external balastrauding.

The name of the building is clearly visible within the balastraude. The white ink has been effective and has created a contrast that keeps the logo subtle but plain to see.

White ink is readily available and is been used widely for creating internal partitions. The saturation level of the white ink can be varied to enable the designer to determine the amount of transparency that is achieved.

In a single panel, it is possible to create both opaque and totally transparent areas.
