Ezytube’s semi-rigid, concrete column forming tubes are lightweight and have a weatherproof constructed of several layers of mesh reinforced with strong plastic.
Concrete column forming tubes from Ezytube offer a range of advantages and benefits. Their lightweight construction enables them to be transported easily and their ability to be ‘poured up’ or ‘poured down’ can decrease construction time and significantly reduce the labour costs involved in making concrete columns.
The standard finish produced by Ezytube concrete forming columns has a spiral seam: an indentation in the concrete columns caused by the concrete column forming tubes’ construction. For concrete columns with a smooth finish, plastic liners are available that can be inserted inside the concrete column forming tubes. Concrete columns with coloured finishes are also possible.
Ezytube concrete column forming tubes are easy to remove thanks to the Ezystrip. This method allows the concrete column forming tubes to be torn apart and removed from outside of concrete columns once they have been filled and set, using an interwoven tape. No extra tools are required and the procedure can be carried out by one person in a very short space of time.
In addition to round, square and rectangular concrete column forming tubes, custom shaped concrete column forming tubes are available.
