Spacesaver mobile shelving units from Davell Products are built on a fully welded base that is manufactured from galvanised square steel tube to ensure maximum strength and durability.
For additional support and rigidity, crossbeams are used in the base of these mobile storage systems, and all static plinths and mobile trolleys that form part of the system are constructed from 2.5mm steel, and also have a fully welded sub frame.
Once installed, adjustable feet allow the base of these modular shelving units to be levelled using laser technology to an accuracy of within 0.5mm. This ensures ease of movement, and correct alignment of the shelving bays.
In addition, to prevent Spacesaver mobile shelving units from ‘crabbing’ and tilting, lateral anti-tile guide wheels run the full length of each unit, serving to stabilise each bay.
Case hardened load bearing wheels are used on each mobile trolley, which can carry weights far greater than the maximum capacity of the trolley.
All components used in Spacesaver mobile storage systems are treated with a phosphate wash that removes any impurities then powder coated using the latest thermo-set technology.
