The Plasticast, available from Dalchem , is a two-component rigid urethane casting compound. The Plasticast cures to approximately Shore 65D and is tan in colour.
Benefits:
The Plasticast is rapid setting and demonstrates more flexibility than other similar materials. The Plasticast casting compound is compatible with a wide range of fillers and can reproduce intricate detail as a result of its low viscosity.
This system is easy to process with a 1:1 ratio and has a low setting exotherm temperature of only 77°C. The Plasticast can be demoulded in 1 - 3 hours dependent on cast thickness.
