In Screed Flooring Heating system

The In Screed Flooring Heating system, available from DEVI Heating Systems , consists of a DEVI heating cable fixed on top of the floor structure using a light steel mesh or Devifast fixing strips.

The cables are covered with a sand/cement screed bed, typically 25mm in thickness with a minimum thickness of 15mm.

The cables heat up the surrounding screed, which in turn heats up the floor covering above. In screed is considered to be a direct acting system although it does have some storage characteristics.
