Melbourne architect, David Saunders of S2 Design, has used custom made aluminium sliding doors from
Creative Windows to brilliant effect in his renovation and extension of a 70 year old Californian Bungalow in the Melbourne suburb of Caulfield.
The oversize sliding stacking doors work to create a sense of unity with the outside environment in all weather conditions. The sense of light is ever present and the prevailing breezes can be amply taken advantage of through the large panelled doors and matching sliding kitchen window.
The Modernist feature of the supporting column at the rear is enhanced through utilising Creative Windows' expertise to create a feature of the butt joined corner window.
