Pre-Coated Heat Reflective Coil Coating Paints
Coolshield International is to launch its Pre-Coated Heat & Solar Reflective Coil, initially through its exclusive distributor in the U.A.E. Tiger Profiles & Insulation, a division of the Tiger Group, which has various operations within the Middle East and Asia in both building construction and engineering.
Coolshield's objective during the trial period was to ensure that the Pre-Coated Coil Product would provide the same benefits in heat and solar reflectivities that it provides through its successful Solacoat Heat & Solar Reflective Post Paint Coatings.
The big Benefits in such Pre-Coated Heat & Solar Reflective Paint Coatings being applied to coil substrate as a pre-coated product is the large savings gained through having to apply less insulation or no insulation to the roofing or walls to new or old buildings especially in hot climates.
In non air conditioned buildings, having applied these pre-coated roofing & wall substrates, will greatly reduce the heat entering into these buildings through the roof or walls making life much more comfortable for the workers inside, and additional benefits that come with such product is that the roof life & performance will last longer then normal roofing substrates, as the roof does not get that hot as normal and does not go through the expansion and contraction on hot days.
The Heat Reflective & Solar Reflective Coil Coating Paints are water based.
Providing such technology, pre-coated to roofing and wall substrates assist in lower energy costs and greenhouse gases going into the environment.
Coolshield's Pre-coated Heat & Solar Reflective Coil Coated Substrate has shown a solar reflectivity value of 75% and an absorption rate of 25% in RAL9002 (off white) colour.
Coolshield will be also providing such Pre-Coated Coil in dark Colours, providing heat and solar reflectivity but not as high as the off white, but still much greater then normal dark coloured roofing material, as it does with its Dynasty dark Coloured Heat Reflective Insulating Paints Dynasty Charcoal for instance provides a lower heat reduction of upto 15.5 degrees over and above the normal Charcoal Paints available, and is also a water based non hazardous product as is Solacoat.
