Micro LED strip from Coolon
Micro LED strip from Coolon

The Micro LED strip from Coolon comes in at 5mm width and is sending waves through the lighting community. LED strips are often used in places where conventional light sources simply do not fit.

Now Coolon Lighting has minimised space requirements even further, creating a strip that can be used in applications too narrow to have ever previously been considered.

This highly dense and versatile tiny LED strip can be used for a multitude of applications; such as in between tiles, as pictured, and amazingly yields equal brightness to similar larger strips.

The tiny LED strip uses the latest technology OSRAM micro side emitting LEDs that were originally developed to be used in the backlighting of mobile phone and PDA devices.

Each 360mm strip has 42 bright micro LEDs which, for better flexibility can be further cut into smaller sections of 50mm (6 LEDs).
