Commercial Roofing employs an innovative waterproofing product to secure industrial and commercial premises against downpours and general rain.
The Australian product, Insultec, is a high-build membrane, which demonstrates enhanced durability, proven in up to 2000+QUV hours of testing, and for more than15 years in commercial application.
Insultec’s flexibility bridges and seals cracks and gaps to 1.6mm and overcomes the significant expansion and contraction of many building and roofing materials caused by exposure to the harsh Australian conditions.
The high level of adhesion enables application to a range of surfaces including metal, concrete, bitumen and asbestos, on flat and steep gradient roofs, walls, tanks and sheds.
Insultec is applied in a liquid paint-like form and dries to provide a stable, waterproof finish with enhanced appearance.
As the membrane contains a heat-reflective resin base, it totally reflects 85% of ultraviolet and 90% of infrared light, keeping the substrata cool to touch.
Insultec is therefore highly recommended as a low cost, energy efficient product on existing weathered roofs, and as a preventative application on new roofs and structures to avoid cracking and flaking, prolong a maintenance-free life, and to maintain cooler internal temperatures of up to 20.7°C.
